Timothy A. Tankersley, Grandpa and Uncle

Timothy A. Tankersley, 42, of 31 Mill Street Apt 3, Port Allegany, PA, formerly of Bradford, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013.

Born July 18, 1970 in Arlington, VA he was a son of Patricia L. (Pistner) Tankersley and the late Larry E. Tankersley. He attended St. Bernard School and Bradford Central Christian High School.

He was formerly married to Cheryl Sample.

Tim was employed as a truck driver in Philadelphia and prior to that he worked at Bradford Forest Products.

Surviving in addition to his mother are two daughters, Autumn Tankersley, of Smethport, and Taylor Tankersley, of Philadelphia, three sons Axle Tankersley, of Bradford, Austin Tankersley, of Smethport, and Tyler Tankersley, of Philadelphia, two sisters, Barbara Smith, of Bradford, and Karen Kline, of Pittsburgh, one brother, Mark Tankersley of Pittsburgh, two grandchildren Isaiah Santiago, and Macie K. Stone and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Michael K. Tankersley.

There will be no public visitation. Private services will be held for the family and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Rasselas. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
