Memorial Day Service

The Port Allegany Honor Guard is pictured at St. Gabriels Catholic Cemetery during one of three Memorial Day services sponsored by the local American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.  A service was held on the Brooklynside Bridge for those lost at sea and the traditional ceremony held on the Town Square with guest speaker Rev. Randy Headley.  Larry Siebert was the Master of Ceremonies.  Others participating in the ceremony were Mike Hardes, Mike Hadden, John Borowski, Eugene Lewis and the Honor Guard under the direction of Joe Knell.  Music for the event was provided by the PAHS and Alumni Band under the direction of Brad Stewart.  Pam Fischer Photo
