Driver in ICU

A Port Allegany man remains in ICU after a late night accident Friday.  Kane based state police tell Port Allegany Online that 38 year old Karl E. Renner was operating an ATV along Coleman Mills Road, Liberty Township.  Renner’s 2007 Suzuki started to roll to its left when he left the vehicle, landing along the south berm.  The vehicle rolled several times, leaving it with disabling damage according to investigating Trooper Matthew Cornetti.  Mr. Renner was flown by STAT-MEDEVAC to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.  Trooper Cornetti was assisted at the scene by Port Allegany Police, EMS and Port Allegany Fire Department.
